The idea

It started with one challenging fescue lawn.

Slow growth, compacted clay soil, uneven color, and Amarillo weather turned one home lawn into a real-world classroom. Researching soil preparation, seed, irrigation, fertilizers, treatments, and equipment became a serious interest—and eventually the foundation for Yard Hero.

Today, the goal is simple: give customers honest guidance, thoughtful service, and the information they need to help each project succeed after the work is complete.
